Q:

edgun multishot

Is it true that the multishot is coming soon, I saw video of Ed testing the modification. Sorry if this has been discussed but I have been away from the forum for the last few months.

I just thought you´d better have different calibers of AG´s in your arsenal. If Saddam ever rises again you need some Weaponry to keep the bastard at bay ..

The Finnish Love Viper has a point! Owning a .25 caliber is sufficiently different from the .22, it’s almost like having a different gun.

Actually, it will be a different gun…but you will experience much more enjoyment and pleasure when shooting the .25 caliber.

It’s a lot like having sex. You have to be there to understand the difference between hearing about it, and actually doing it.

By the way, Hemn, did you know in the Finnish religion, after a man dies, he wakes up in a Herring Pickling facility. If he has led a righteous and honest life, with love and consideration for his fellow men and women, he is blessed by not being the one getting pickled in that stinky vat…or so I hear! Could just be rumor, one never really knows about such things!

Kindest regards,

Uncle Hoot:

Uncle knows his religion!
And it seems he’s on the same page with me regarding the .22 vs .25 deal and that actually scares me a little …

Regarding the noice – does it really matter on the vast hills of Suleymanyah ? For what it’s worth the .25 Cricket is about equal to a EdGun .22 in std length. A bit deeper, lower pitch on the tone. And i’m referring both shooting at around 285 mp/s.
Regarding accuracy then; How many competitive long range airgunners use small calibers ? The .25 is less sensotive to winds and the pellets have better BC. I would say past 50 m i’d choose a .25 every time. Upto that distance it’s a tie.

Dear Rid,

Still don’t know what kind of magazines will be released and I will get what, even Edward didn’t mentioned that, anyhow if you ever want me to help you in this please PM me…..

My dear gypsy brother ville & my beloved uncle Hoot: ..

I am usually taking advises from all of you ,,, I think both of you could to change my mind, you know why I didn’t choose .25 cal, because I am rather afraid of importing .25 pellets, for only 8 tins of a .22 they told me to bring a permission from a ministry of interior ,,,,fuck,,,, I have sent them a .22 cal pellets of FTT to show them the material, they told my friend that there is no difference between this and the real bullet of a black powder rifles, ,, what is the fucking brains & mentality .?
It was good to not sent the .25 pellets,,,, & on the other hand I have got everything for .22 cal ,,,,

Please ville & my uncle tell me the differences of loudness of the .25 cal,,, Accuracy and all comparing to the .22cal. .. .

Thanks for the funny worlds uncle H oo T …

Hmmmmm…..

With regards to ED’s plastic mags: I wouldn’t jump to any sort of conclusion quite yet. None of us have seen them, – so it is a bit early to judge, – or ???? 😉

About ss to ms conversion kits:

As you may have noticed I ordered and paid for a .22 conversion kit including 2 mags in June last year. Supposed to be shipped along with my R3M, – but Ed said he forgot to put the kit and mags in the box. This I got to learn when unpacking my R3M in December.

As per the below, Ed then promised to send it (the new version) on Feb 1st this year:

I am a bit worried now as I have had no news regarding the shipment. I emailed him and also sent a txt. message but so far with no luck……… 😥

The deal was the conversion kit should be waiting for me upon my arrival in Oslo on Feb 10th.

Let’s see what happens……….

I’ll let you know about the mags as soon as I have them…..

Cheers
Trygve :biggrinn:

When I was told there was no support for R3M in the form of additional mags. for a year I got rid of both the R3M 22 and 25 Breeches. Tony our Distributor had a single load .22 breech assy. and I had to trade the .25 off to get a single for it. I kept the R3M Multi assy. for my .22 and would be interested in 4 extra mags for it if they were ever available, but want aluminum mags like my gun came with.

Right on! Plastic mags – as those on the FX line of “highest end” Airrifles – are a joke! Flimsy bits that break and wear out easily , not to mention the ridiculous spring driven mechanism – straight from a Pea gun .. :angrymob:

Ville,
I can say that you have a big & very good affect on me,,, you can persuade me on things easily, because I can see your honesty and experience, but might change my mind. .. but let me see … I have to consider everything ….. you know what is fucking going on in my country. ..

Ville, still keeping my plan to order the WST Cricket .22cal,
How long it will take?

quote Sir Ville:

Good luck ! Don´t hold your breath waiting – A year in a world of EdGun is like those Dog years. One equals seven … 😡

We´ll see when you´re ready to order. It depends on how fast the Turkish Airlines can fly, i quess … :biggrinn:
If i was you i´d order a .25 cal WST though – since you already have a .22 cal EdGun.

My brother Rid,

I am ready to order mags with my other and sending them to you. …what do you think?

quote RIDETOEAT:

When asking about additional Edgun mags. Was told late 2014 so almost a year. I have to admit it was refreshing ordering 4 extras for my inbound cricket and it not being an issue and only $26 each

My dear brother Rid,
I am sure there will be a sigle shot breeches on the way to us, I have placed an order directly from Ed, I ordered an edgun ST .22 for one of my friends along with the single shot breeches for both of us, the price I think & if I am not wrong €150, with a plenty of accessories, the most important things that I am happy with is I ordered 8 tins of high quality of edgun pellets  hahaha I bet you all when you reach here u will think of something else, but for a poor man like me & since buying pellets become a big problem for me then I have to make a party   hahaha …
I prefer Edward also put his wisdom to this post for ensuring my US brothers. …

i have ordered 6 mags for my Edgun and the new Edgun R3M ST on order for my friend,,, also air valve rod and 2 single shot breech …and a dozen of accessories …God Willing … i think for us (Europe & Middle East) will be released in February …. hope Eduard come up with his useful replies ,,,

Hemm: How are you ordering single shot breeches, Tony is telling us here in the states that it is discontinued so not likely to ever get them ??

No what i want is to turn my SINGLE shot R3 to a MULTI shot R3M. If you read earlier in the post it sounds like Ed says they will be available.

Here is the Quote from Ed “…as well as KITs to turn single shot Matador into multishot.”
