Edgun question
Just a quick question from a new guy .
My question is what size are the female threads on the end of the shroud on a Edgun 2.5 in 22 cal

The cap on my R3 .25 Cal was extremely tight. I took blue painters tape and wrapped about 10 wraps around the tube. Then I put a hose clamp on top of the tape and tightened it down real snug. I was then able to put a vice grip on the extended screw on the hose clamp and with the leverage it afforded I was able to unscrew it. Took off the clamp and unwrapped all the tape and no evidence or marks left at all.
Thanks Mark I was going to make a tool for that but drill bits that fit snug is a good Idea. I always hate to take something off like that and end up with slots instead of holes 😯 Thanks for the tip Mark!
Eddie,I took the endcap of my 2.5 by finding two drill bits put them in a
vise lining them up precisely to match the holes.Took some latex gloves
gave it a twist and it came off easily.Hope this helps,Mark
I have never been able to take off the end cap on mine, Aparantley you did? how did you get it off? If I can get mine off i can check it out for you I have metric pitch gauge and metric calipers so I can get that for you if I can get my end cap off 😯
