Q:

Edgun R3 .30 Caliber Fix & Upgrade

Hey, guys, I know it has been a long time coming, but I finally have a fix and upgrade for those Edgun customers who purchased a Generation 1 R3 .30 caliber Matador. Hope this helps. Wingman and I have not forgotten about the original .30 caliber owners

Would this include a new valve or work with current 2mm stem due to lower reg pressure?

Cool. I have not broken a stem on mine yet but a kit is good news. :8: :8: :8:

I have reserved it for raccoons and have avoided shooting it a lot. I kind of lost count of the shots on it but it is in the 3000 count range I believe. It must be ready to break. Will the new kit help me tune it up at all? Right now I have it set at 875 fps / 75 fpe which is pretty good and keeps it quiet. I see in the video you have it set about 900 fps. That would be cool.

I wonder how many of the Gen 1’s like mine have not had a problem yet? Mine is a short. Does that matter. I had turned it down right away is why I think it had lasted so long.

So when will this be available and where?

Thanks!

P.S. A guy on my motorcycle forum (Stromtrooper) in New Zealand now rents V-Strom motorcycles and has been working on me to come down there. The 22 hours and $1265 each for the air tickets have discouraged me a bit. The wife insists she would have to go too. :confusedn:

I just picked up a new Kawasaki Versys 300 for folks like the wife and son to ride as a second bike to my V-Strom 1000.

Note: this kit is for the Gen 1 .30cal only and not suitable for the gen 2
