Edgun R3 Shot Strings
I got a 22 Standard and a 25 Long in the last shipment and have been shooting them for a couple of months. Strings for the .22 are with JSB 18.1’s and the .25 is with JSB Kings.
The 25 Long came shooting at 950 fps and as it settled in worked its way up to 970 fps. The accuracy was definitely sufferring so I decided to start tuning.

Here is my current state of tune:
I watched OG’s video and read on here about Reg adjustment. As everyone says, taking the gun apart is really quite simple once you do it once and figure it out. I think I’m close enough now to shoot it for a while and not worry about it but would like some comments from the experts (Old Goat). I am backed off on the HST about 10-15 fps from max. Reg is now turned down from !2:00 to 5:30 This is 75 very good shots. Accuracy is now outstanding. Is it going to make any worthwhile difference backing the reg off a smidgeon more?
Also, here is a shot string from my .22 standard. I have not messed with it yet as I am still increasing the shot count and the accuracy is excellent. It doesn’t seem like this will need as much reg adjustment when the time comes.

Wow…that’s outstanding. Thanks for the info. I was wondering about it because I had to put a new reg in and my hst was the only thing I touched so mine would shoot in the low 900s to around 895. I really want it a hair lower, but need to shoot it more to get it broken in, I guess.
