Edgun rail and sling mount
Where are you guys putting the rear sling mount on your matadors? Also, what lenth rail are you using for bipod mount? I was thinking either a 6 or 8″ rail. I have seen pics of rear sling mounted in the “hook”. Does that work well? I figured the hook was there for function. Like you could hook it on your arm when not shooting or something. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

I’ve used these and they work well with very good grip!
Currently I’m using a short picatinny rail mounted on the forearm so I can switch back and forth from lights to bi-pod.
I would not put a sling on a bullpup. I’d use a single point attachment sling, like those used on AR 15 rifles. However, no sling is best, in my opinion.

JD….great help video! Is it better to use that with a bolt or just use a wood screw? Or does it matter? I bought threaded sling screws…
I use 6″ rail up front with sling block at very front edge and sling stud in hook on rear.
Works great.

On the long models you can use something a little longer if you feel you need to like the Atlas BT17 which, also has a QD sling flush cup

For a rear sling you could counter sink a flush cup or put a good ole sling stud. Flush cup would be better since when you take the sling off and set it down the stock will be flush to the ground and not balancing on the sling stud.
I bought this one. It’s a 4″ Picatinny that allows a sling screw as well…in case you ever want a sling.
Wanta wanka I see a lot of views on this thread but no one responded yet. To tell you the truth, I haven’t seen many guns on here with slings. As for the rail for the bipod. I got an R7 based on the feedback from the guys on here. Checkout this thread, heads up please ignore SECoda’s and my off tangent chat about Emily Ratajkowski.

Thanks guys!! However, what was a done deal has apparently been undone. Not getting the long and I just can’t convince myself to get the standard if there is one left. Looks like there is a pretty good chance I’m going gunless this year. :3: still searching for shot strings and info to figure out how much I’m losing by going that route.
