Q:

Edgun rings

Can I use low rings with a 56mm scope on a new Edgun? I saw the post suggesting Burris Signature rings, but they apparently aren’t available in low profile. And do I really need adjustable rings if I can use low profile rings? Suggestions?

It is “Nikko Stirling 10-50×60 Diamond” installed Jeff’s gun.

Well, I’m sorry but THIS is the case with SS16x42 and medium rings 🙁
BTW is this Nikko Stirling 10-50×60 Diamond Sportsman on the picture?

It doesn’t get any better than that!

Here is my setup… Decide for yourself…

Although your front objective will hang over the rail, and you’ll have plenty of room before your scope would touch the barrel shroud, you will still have to clear the rear eye objective because it will still be over the rail so I doubt most low rings would work but it sounds like the Burris Signature rings have enough clearance. Just buy two different height rings from midwayusa.com and return the rings you don’t want. It would be very cheap to send back and you won’t have problems returning them through midwayusa.

SS10x42 scope just clears the Weaver rail with B-Square medium rings. I’d say for 56 mm scope you’ll need high rings. 😯

Medium signatures, or low?

I haven’t tried low rings or a 56MM scope, but my guess is that you might have a clearance problem.
