Q:

Edgun single screw trigger

Hi everyone

What’s the remedy to get rid of a creeping trigger on the Edgun, I want a quite stiff clean break, But alas the trigger creeps quite a lot so it’s not a clean break at all.
If I make the trigger softer it’s cleaner break but I rather like it quite stiff as I use this for hunting too.

Ernest video only show 2 screw version.

The trade off of a simple single screw trigger adjustment is you lose the ability to adjust the first and second stages individually.

A single screw will make the first stage longer or shorter, but affect the pressure needed to release the second stage when shooting.

I found that you can move the adjusting rod nut in or out to increase/decrease the spring pressure, and change the settings available with the single screw triggers. Once you get it where you need it, be sure to use some fingernail polish, a lock nut, or some lok-tite, to hold the adjusting rod nut in place. That nut is subject to a lot of movement and subsonic vibration.

Once set and fixed into place, it won’t “creep” on you.
