Really nice… I like the way you angled the grip back… Beautiful job..

Khadux, we based the design on the original and I wanted finger grooves. We also angled the grip a bit more than the original. My grandfather doesn’t have a duplicator so we just took measurements from the original stock and went to work.

wow, I will take one.

Sweet!!! 😀

Thanks guys. The stock balances very well. Just like the original. The new stock is a little heavier but it balances just as well. I actually appreciate the bit of extra weight. Toshik- this is a completely new stock. My grandfather is a stock maker and he guided me through making this stock. He did all the critical parts. Tonaka- I will have to ask my grandfather exactly what the finish is. I know it is sprayed on over several sessions.

Looks awesome!!! More pictures please.

Was the shape cloned from the original stock?

I agree – it looks beautiful!
Is it veneer over the original stock or complete custom-made?

That is really nice stock!
I love walnut! The texture is awesome!
How does it shoulder? If it ballances as nice as it looks, you are one lucky man!
BTW, what finish did you use to make it look so nice?

Lookin damn good
