Q:

EG valve stems

A Friend broke a VS on his EG .25. He received a new one but it looks a bit different than the one that just broke. The steel part is longer ( i understand it can be cut down to size) but the plastic part length differs too.
What’s going on ??

The newer valves have a shorter plastic part. It makes no difference and works the same as the older version. Cut the valve stem with a dremel tool to the same length as the old valve. There is even a few videos on uTube with details on valve replacement.
