Q:

English Translation of Manual??

Anyone have a translation of the manual text available as a link or PDF? I’m surprised that Tony or Ed haven’t done this yet, but surely someone here has the dope(??) I know it’s been said that it’s rather basic, but there are drawings showing disassembly etc that would certainly be improved with descriptions. (Or closed caption on Ed’s videos??)

FWIW, my gun arrived without damage. Trigger adjusted by me to decent two-stage pull, but not nearly as clean as HW 100TFSB, AA 410 or FX Royale. Gun is quite accurate, (only tried Edgun/JSB’s so far) and certainly has a distinctive appearance. Very quiet also. Reasonable ergo’s for LH shooter. Looking forward to tweaking hammer tension and regulator as outlined elsewhere on the forum.

Anyone noticed the recommended filling pressure and end pressure? 220-130 BAR for the R3 according to Ed as well.

I’ve been running mine from 200-210 (gun gauche)

Any thoughts on this?

Yahoo! Thank you’s go out to Kindly ‘OL Uncle Hoot and Ed who said just shoot it!!! Then Kazzz came through with the PDF. And also John in PA. who summed it all up, alot better than I could ever do.

Thank you very much!! And thanks for the very fine, and uniquely designed airgun. It always generates interest when others see it for the first time!! Superb accuracy and pleasurable to own and shoot. Keep up the fine work!

Sorry it took me so long to post, but forgot about it.. :/

Thank you, David, that is a project of a new passport for Matador, which I made and Ted corrected the text. Hope next delivery of the passport will be done in English already.

Bump!!

Still would like English translation of owner’s manual.

English version from ED would be even nicer, considering cost of rifle.

Ain’t got mail yet… Still forthcoming??

The booklet that comes is the simple user’s guide, and doesn’t really get into the things we do here. I had it translated, but it was so basic that I didn’t post it.

Ed is right. Just shoot the dang thing for awhile. I never had to adjust anything on my two Edguns. I put a pellet in, I shot it, and things far away had holes appear where my crosshairs were cnetered.

It was so accurate out of the box, I was trimming bagworm infested limbs off my trees with it. 150 foot shots, and I could trim a twig off with four shots. One at the top of the twig, two in the middle, and one at the bottom. It was that easy.

Clean the barrel thoroughly, and leave everything else alone for at least a couple months. It takes a bit for these things to get broken in properly (the owners, not the gun), then check out some of the adjustments mentioned in here, and in Ed’s excellent videos.

Regards,

Kindly ‘Ol Uncle H 😯 😯 T

Just shoot and don’t do anything to it for the first time, especially regulator. As for English manual — will upload a little later, it is ready.
