ER .30 Cricket
Shot a few 5-shot groups with 44.75 gr JSB’s (unweighed and unsorted). This thing rocks. LW barreled powerful pellet shooter at 880 fps for 40 shots from a 250 bar fill. Still figuring the hold on this beast. Expect accuracy to improve further but got 1/2″ to 3/4″ groups on the day at 50 yards. BTW, I’m shooting a cardboard box stuffed with rubber mulch. Steel plate behind just in case.

The only gripe is that if you’re not fast enough the auto shuts off to soon ….. ..

I’ve not tried more speed than 880 fps. I want to keep my shot count and that power seems very adequate to me. I’ve heard that the .30 Flex from WAR is shooting the pellets at 920 fps with outstanding accuracy. That’s got a TJ barrel though. I may experiment with higher speeds in the future. You know, it’s hard not to hot rod these guns for me :biggrinn: .
I man try the 50.15 grainers but reports from most say the 44.75 gr is best from accuracy.
I’ve heard that over 880 FPS JSB. 30 are not stable meaning that they spiral in flight. Have you noticed that?
There are 44.75grain and 51.15 grain. Wonder which will work best ?????

Thank you sir. I’ve not sorted or weighed pellets yet. I intend to try that as I’ve been told that the JSB .30’s vary in weight quite a bit. I need to acquire a scale.
I mainly use my Edgun Standard 30 set at 75 fpe for raccoons, a few squirrels, and bigger game. Count on it destroying your feeders, etc. like a 22 LF short if you hit them.

I really wanted a 30 cal Cricket to go with the family but the Mutant sucked me in,
And my back stop at 38 yards has some tile bricks (yes the big ones) Because my 25 will punch a hole in them after a few hundred shots,,,
And the 30 cal is a little over kill on my game (sparrows) My 22 kills them fine, My 25 makes them very dead, I am sure the 30 will make them a lot more deader,
My Crickets have made me a believer in the bull pup game.

A 30 cal making 81 FPE that is some power man, it’ll be a contender for the Edgun 30 also.
