And how do you do the angle on a manual lathe?
Just looking at my big bore valve to see if there is enough meat in the stem to thread it.

As I was reciving some criticism from local airgun forums (Argentina) about the vaidity of my test. I decided to make all test again but now from 1 metter away from the chrony, they argue I was putting the barrel so sticked to the chrony and the flow air could be showing wrong numbers. I do not blame them for think it, in mi case I would be thought on the same way, for these reason I tested two of my collection rifles, whose speed I knew previously, so it gove me the certainty that my chrony is working okay.
So here are two new test, the first with JSB Exact King .25cal 25.4grains.
And the second test, asked by Roachcreek made by 60 grains slug .25cal

Here are a pic of the power reduction’s screws through it you are able to give to the valve the power to your wish, just placing the screw with the adecuate hole

You have right Maw, it’s is not regulated cause it hasn’t regulator, I said regulable which in my Spanish tongue means adjustable power, just a word’s missunderstanding.
I never got worry about to put a regulator because I have a bunch of botles, just when the gauge get down to 150bar I just put another botle and it get ready to go. It yield me 60 shoots roughly whith incredible power and accuracy. I made some of my valves for some of my friends even whit different shape: crowmagnum, diabolo pellets, slug or clasic. Just I can tell you the first time I tried my new valve it was so sweet… like as it were another rifle.

I don’t think it is regulated system, but it is kick ass power, nice rig!!
You certainly have my attention. Seems you have a different bottle, elbow, valve, tophat and breech and you say regulator?
What is the bottle fill and the regulator pressure?
Have you chronied the 43 EJ’s?

Hamer and spring too, the only original thing is the frame and trigger sistem.
Yo can fill the bottle like a whatever regular Airforce just screw the conect to the valve and it on the pump or scuba tank.
Power regulable by screws whith different hole in the tophat.
I setled it at 1200fps JSB 25.4gr, It give me an widely range to shot at long distance whit incredible accuracy.
I tested something better, 55grains slugs, has nothing to envy to Ej’s pellets. Chrony showed me 955fps. If you’re interested to see more vid or pics just tell me, I gonna post it as long as some people showed interest on it, till now you’re the only one my partner….lol

Sometimes 200bar, sometimes 180bar, all depend of the presure to the charge station is giving
There are different techniques to make an angled valve, I prefer to place two suplements in the headstock of my lathe as a way to create a light angle in which to make the screw thread
Dave, be carefully with te modification of your big bore valve, sometimes is better to let it like it is, could be more easy start a new valve from zero and not to run the risk to ruin an excellent valve
