Yeah Ville, my point was made……I’m glad you like the Vulcan. I’m sure I’ll like mine in .25 when I get it. I’m confident that I’ll enjoy the .22 Mutant for years to come. By the way, Vulcans, the extraterrestrial humanoid species, are highly susceptible to the large, fast-moving, highly venomous serpent the Taipan. The Taipan, for some odd reason, are highly aggressive towards Vulcans, thus the reason they have never invaded and took over the earth. Checkmate.

Hope you don’t need to swap out magazines…..

Don’t have that problem with the mutant….

Just drop it in And chamber another round ….

Puts the cricket and vulcan to shame….

No man, I’m not pulling your leg. I don’t put my guns in vises, that’s just silly. I can index the Mutant while keeping my sight picture. There’s a bit of technique to it but it’s easy now for me. That’s right!!

Well cool. The Mutant isn’t even readily available and it’s causing a stir. I can index the silky smooth side-lever without losing my sight picture, no oversize cocking knob needed. Check. The direct comparison in weeks to come will be interesting. I believe they are both at the top currently.

The only way you are doing this is in a vise so stop with the ridiculousness.

:hoot: :2:

Ratso

A bad bad boy

Yeah, I want one in .25. It’s got to be a nice pup to have all the support.

i hav a cricket and hav tryed keeping it shoulder and work the side lever,
there is no comparsion of the two 4 that one.
vulcan all the way.

hey i want the baby mutan pup myself, they kool guns both of them.
but the vulcan once u shoot it………..
you’ll be hooked.

I don’t have the Vulcan yet but the side lever guns are a by gone for me. Just very hard to cock when shooting from truck.

i hav my vulcan, trigger set down to grams, its a hair trigger, that is a superb trigger

with the forward cocking lever, trump that one

And also, the Mutant trigger is adjustable for over-travel. Tit for tat……..

And so is the Vulcan trigger. Exactly everything is adjustable – even the over travel of the trigger. A superb trigger.

Jamie the Vulcan has some qualities that out perform the Taipan. My friend has a taipan and I like the gun but then again I seem to like all bullpups  But the Vulcan regulator is as consistent as the taipan. The stock design is better than the taipan. Both guns cycle butter smooth. Taipan wins at loading the magazine. The Vulcan trigger is better. There is more adjustment possible with the Vulcan. You can even turn the first stage off if the shooter wants to. The Vulcan is more compact Both are fine guns and when the new taipans arrive I hope to own one One feature I like about the taipan is the ability to add a LDC to the shroud with Hagan’s adaptor.

You can adjust the Taipan Mutant’s trigger to have no first stage as well. I haven’t shot a Vulcan but I can tell you, the Mutant trigger is going to be extremely hard to 1 up. The trigger unit is very highly adjustable and well engineered. I would love to see a head to head on these two…………

Do not compare this fine weapon to anything Ed – or his crappy gun , young Man .
