I like the looks of them Dragon Slayers but never had the chance to shoot one.
always had it in the back of my mind to convert one to .357 they are a bit weak for the .50 but they would have the perfect power for .357 🙂

Yea the .50 slayer is a little week, shoots about 8-10 shots at 600-650fps with 182gr round ball so max 170ftlbs… My .30 cal bullpup is over 200ftlbs so kind of pointless..
I intend to fux it by dropping it in a bullpup stock and crank it up to shoot some 340gr HP bullets to about 400ftlbs for 2-3 usable shots.. That should liven up the party.. 
I have a 20″ .357 barrel awaiting a custom build also so will work that one around the 300ftlbs mark to cover all grounds 🙂
I thought of you while building my last .30cal pistol, it would make a great close quarters pig putter downer..

Such studies are inconclusive. They studied Uncle Hooters anatomy but there was no brain to be found.
That same scenario may be true in the case of Deer cranium.
BTW – i’m waiting by the Mailbox for that delicious Boar Fillet arrival. Will it take long time ? It’s getting a bit chilly here …
probably with Deer I would seriously consider targeting the back of the head since it’s so exposed,
but yeah the in between, on a straight line eye to hear should work, good thing to do is really study the anatomy of the cranium to figure out where the brain really is.

Nope, I never aim for the eye.
I prefer the center of the forehead 1-2′ above the eyeline, but this one I shot broadside between the eye and the hear.
it was at 25 yards and I was using the Benjamin 28gr, they shoot somewhere in the 950-970 fps, can’t remember exactly the numbers :biggrinn:
The video is awesome, good quality and farely long, the action at the shot is insane.
