Evanix MAX .25

Let me start this thread by saying that like most of the world I belive the MAX is a butt ugly Gun 😀 😀

But I belive I managed to do something about that.

I woud like to say that to compare the MAX to the Edgun is pretty silly, both BullPups but after that completely different animals.
I’ve seen the “Edgun Killer” comments, incidentally those comments where made by non MAX Owners, never seen one of the MAX owners even get close to comment of the Kind.

Weightwise, the Max has some heft, so If you’re a Little girl or an Invalid I would suggest you not buy one, However if you’re an average “MAN” with average strenght, I’m 5 6″ 145 # the MAx is a nice gun 🙂 🙂

I’ve carried the MAX for several Hours up and down Mountains and I can say that afterall the 28″ lenght makes it a joy to carry in thick forests, in the same area th 7.4 pounds Dragon Claw was much more of a burden.

The Gun is Powerfull and accurate, not expected to be high end Euro accurate but a nickle group compared to a dime group at 50 yards, won’t make a lick of difference in the real world of Hunting 😀

This groups where shot either the 1st or 2nd day I had the Gun in strong gusty trades,…35 yards

the next morning in calm winds I shot this groups again at 35 yards

I have now over 1500 shots ( stopped counting 🙂 ) and she has improved as she broke in and made a real tricky shot at 40 yards at a mongoose and a nice neck shot at a Rooster

I’m happy to report no malfunctions whatsoever, no double taps, no Missfires, when using The long Benjamin Domes and Baracuda the skirt can slip back in the last magazine chamber and cause a jam, solution for that is not to load the last chamber making the magazine essentially a 9 rounds one.

With Predators and shorter pellets like H& FTT, JSB 10 rounds can be loaded

Best pellet for my MAX is the Benjamin Dome, Baracuda is pretty good too, Predators and H&N Hollowpoints shoot well at lower pressure, I haven’t tryed JSB and EunJin don’t shoot well, so the gun isn’t really pellet fussy.

I get 20 good Power shots on POI going from 200 BAR to 140 BAR, more than I’ll ever need 😀 😀

So,…..I’m estatic with the performance of the gun, and now I like the looks too.
