Its not back yet. Will finished up with it but it is off to get a 4500psi tube made for it.

I haven’t got it back yet. They are still working on it. Wil Piatt has it and he is working on it when he has time.

Is it back yet? If so how is it.

Thanks
Before valve broke about 70 !
but this gun has been modded not by me .
It was a full power .22 running at 1050 fps 10 shots per fill at 200 bar!!
The importer lightened the hammer changed the hammer spring shortened the hammer stroke, drilled and tapped the top hat and fitted grub screw with 2mm dia hole .the power curve was bad start at 200 bar fill 9.8 foot pound middle of shot count 11.2 end of string 9.2 at around 80 bar ,this is why I will fit reg and a ssg spring set up ,hope ill get around 120 shots at 11.5 ish

At sub 12 ft lbs how many shots can you get per fill? And welcome 😛

Hi I’m new on here
have a rex carbine in .22 this is a sub 12 foot pound
the valve stem was broken in to pieces when I got it
Was a display model
Have stripped it right down will make new valve (smaller)and got a fx cyclone reg in tube .
May change to a 19″ .20 cal barrel of one of my rapids.will let you know how I got on !!
Like the feel of it bit like my stealth !
not af compatible at all
All the best Martin

I haven’t got it back yet. They are still working on it. Wil Piatt has it and he is working on it when he has time.

quote Drumie:

The gun doesn’t have a shroud. The barrel is only about 2 inches from the end of the gun. There is just a spacer in it. My gun is off getting a new barrel put on and tuning done to it. One thing they found out about the gun when they tore into it is that the trigger has 2 sears. So you can half cock the gun for lower power shots.

So did you get it back yet? If so how is it now.

Is the shroud removable? If so, remove it and try to group with it off. May be a “clipping” issue. Also, did you test on the chrony. That would be the first step with “shotgun” like groups.

A regulator will not allow the power levels it is producing.

How is the accuracy? What do you mean by “AF compatible”? If you mean tank sharing, I doubt the valve and breech will be the same.

Accuracy test please. Thanks.

I think a regulator could do wonders with that little tank.
Reminds me of the tank on the AF Edge which is regulated.

Cheers
Chris

Took my Rex Pistol out for some shooting today. Here’s some Chrony results.

220 Bar Fill, 25gr JSB

1-807 1-806
2-790 2-798
3-781 3-789
4-770 4-776
5-752 5-757
6-737 6-747
7-722 7-741
8-716 8-716

I was just looking at them yesterday. Interesting looking. I like the action but the air tank seems very small.

I would like to get one but I need to see more reviews. That’s a lot of coin for something new.

That gun looks awesome. I am trying very hard to keep my mouse away from clicking “BUY”….

Maybe you just got a lemon? If still within the return period maybe it would be worth exchanging for another before you start modding?? Just a thought.
