Q:

Evanix Windy City

I have had my eye on this rifle since it was first advertised, along with the Monster. The Windy City really looked impressive so I bought it in a 22cal flavor. PA has a review of it on their site. Here it is below with a zos scope. Still waiting on the Dr. Bob bottle clamp for the bipod. Probably shoot some this weekend if I get time. I’ll send back a report. I really like the walnut on this stock. Check out the little belly swag in the shoulder area, reminds me of my Air Wolf Mcts. Compared with the Royale it is heavier, about the same length and has the same features. Adjustable butt plate, smooth safety, adjustable trigger, etc, etc. The only thing, as PA pointed out is the fill fitting. It is not a foster but one I have never seen before. No problem though, just order a female foster and you’re set.

Could not ask for a better hunk of wood!
Kind of makes me feel bad I cheaped out and bought the Marauder! lol

Looks sweet, built like a tank 😎

I’ll try testing this weekend if it does not rain. Hoot, just by dry firing it the report is louder than my Marauder.

With all your other high-end guns for comparison, your review is going to be very telling. 💡

I’m very very curious about the sound. That looks like a nice shroud and I’m wondering if it has any baffles in it?

My neighbors hate me and don’t trust me (with good cause), so I need quiet, very very quiet!

Hoot 😯

That gun does look good. Please post back some shot groups whenever you can test it.

Please do follow up on this gun. I, too, have been keeping an eye on it. As I understand it, from the factory, they are roughly 40fpe. I would plan to put a weaker hammer spring to drop power down around the 26-30fpe mark…. curious as to the shot count I might get at those levels.

In any case, very interested in accuracy reports, shot count, and any other tidbits you may wish to share.
