Ever Looked Inside Your Scope With a Flashlight
Ever taken a flashlight and looked into the objective end of your scope. I have found all sorts of debris in my scopes. One Burris scope I returned because it had a finger print on the inside of the lens along with small colored fibers. I have found dust and small fibers in my scopes over the years including a Leupold. Have since gotten rid of those with this problem.

I think this is probably the case. The lenses would focus the light into your eyes… 😯

I know a flashlight isn’t the sun, or a laser, but it still sounds like it could be a bad idea.
As much as the Zeiss scope cost they should be able to survive a nuclear blast. 😆
My suspicion is that direct sunlight, and lasers can damage the lens coatings. Either that, or they are covering their ass should some idiot blind themselves by looking at the sun/a laser thru the scope.

Not sure this is a good idea. It says in the Zeiss Conquest owners manual:

That sounds like an End-O-Scope procedure that only a qualified surgeon would dare attempt.

I looked , found a naked woman in mine,now if I an figure out a way to get her out and do all the things I wanta do to her,then put her back in until the next time 😆

My $2k USO scope has a black paint flake floating around…. get’s annoying when it’s covering the crosshairs but a drop and bang then all is well again.
(USO had a clean room problem awhile back, seems that I have one that was built before the problem was discovered and fixed.)
