I can’t believe how they shipped my new rifle to me! It was just rediculious! How DARE they triple box it! Took me a good 2 and a half minutes to un pack it! I want that time back. Don’t they realize that is less time for me to put a new scope on it, refill it, sight it in. and write this bullshit rant.

I did not get much of a chance to shoot today. lawn crew was busy in the yard (wife house keeper, live on property) I did manage to get 2 mags out though.
The first mag after removing the scope from my springer. Just in time too. The scope was showing a mild sign of recoil damage. Suppost to be airgun rated. 🙄 Oh it’s a center point, for now.
I was not even on target, not even by a little so I grabbed this pice of 1/2″- 18″ X 24″ junk plywwod I had laying around and put it against the garge. I loaded up the second mag. Aimed to right edge of target and found POI on the first shot. Wow almost a whole foot off. Hight seems spot on though. I make the proper adjustment to scope and fire again. it went left of aim point by about half an inch. adjust again. Right on spot or atleast good enough for now. Now to dark to shoot. 😥
20.6gr H&N field target trophy. Only .25 I have left from before.Always use the back to front method of cleaning that barrel, and don’t clean it till it starts opening up on groups. That gun is a tack driver if it was made anywhere accept the USA it would cost $2500. 😀 I love mine I shot Bees off my targets at 40 yards only the legs remained as evidence. 😀 There isn’t any gun out there any better trust me. I have the Airforce and the Doscos too, the discos is my grab and go gun it don’t even have a scope on it and 25 yards it is deadly. You’ll love that Maraud.

So none of my not so local gun shops sell .25 ammo any more 😥 WTF?
When I asked why not they said “no one uses it.” one guy said he used to “work for RWS and he did’nt think they made it (.25 ammo) anymore” 😯 😆
I wanted to get it from PA when I ordered the M-Rod but I forgot and when I called them back later they said it was already packed up and ready to go.

Oh hey, I forgot about the Benji Domes at 28 grains. They fly straight and carry quite a whollop! Good call Tulsa. 😉
FWIW…. I shot benji domes box stock starting pressure was 2650. I did the afore mentioned trigger and depinger as well as “baked” the hammer spring.
8 shot quarter groups 40 yards no problem. Chrony’d 857

Are you happy with it??? What was the distance to the target? Did it chew up the garage behind the plywood? Are you going to install a depinger? Have you removed the attorney spring? Enquiring minds want to know!!! Yep, I’m excited right along with you. 😉

I guess you ntoiced that crosman double boxes them. The second .25 Marauder I bought from a wholesale distributor. Someone there had open the box and taken it out, maybe shot it, and then put it back in the box. I could tell because it had the same packing materials as the first, but not in the same order…and there was no pressure in the gun. Oh, and the factory seal had been cut. The first gun had 2000psi from the factory. I was pissed until I shot it and it stacked one pellet on top of another at 25 yards. That made me forget about them trying it out.
I hope yours shoots as well as mine does.
Now listen, it’s easy to double feed these guns. You have to pull the bolt ALL THE WAY BACK. If you short stroke this gun you have a jam from a double feed that’s a P.I.T.A. to clear. (Or have you already figured this out?)

.25 is an oddball, so stock up when you get the chance. It’s good to have a few extra magazines also.
Did you shoot it today? What did you think? The trigger gets much better after you remove the attorney spring. 😉
