Factory Rumors?

I second that Riff. I just love my Volquartzen trigger and everything else they make for that matter.
I’d be on that like a bum on a bologna sandwich.

They need a better

Butt Plate
Trigger guard
Grip
Safety Knob

What they need to do is get rid of the pointy parts at the rear of the frame so we can mount a gauge to the gun. They need to make the trigger parts from tool steel and given a proper heat treatment. They need to leave a lot of meat at the bottle collar frame junction to stop frame flex and beef up the scope rail. The need to made 16″ barreled gun and lengthen the frame for a built in SS style.

But the reality is none of those things help them sell the gun. They need to keep the price down and money coming in. So we diehards will keep making the quality stuff Airforce will not. But that is OK it is kind of like building a Colt 1911 where aftermarket parts are the rule and not the exception.

I know what you mean Riff, I too had a silk like trigger and safety until I sent the gun back to a/f for the new valve, I sent the whole thing back to them trying to get the bushings on the 24 incher replaced because they are so undersized, but instead of replacing the bushings on the barrel they jacked up the trigger a wee bit and turned the safety from an easy trigger finger push to a leave a mark in my thumb, Thanks a million AirForce 🙄

Maybe I just got lucky, but my new trigger parts from AF work quite a bit smoother than my old ones.

I can release the safety with very little pressure and the trigger itself is better than my old polished parts.

Would be nice to see a removable trigger group though, something along the lines of Volquartzen for 10/22s.

I agree about a better butt plate and safety.

better trigger and Safety, anything else will just add to the base price of the gun and we can take care of all the other stuff we want or don’t want on them.
