Factory Top Hat Clearance?
I’m sure it is somewhere on this site; but, I can’t find it?
What is the factory top hat clearance on a new style Talon SS .20 caliber?
My new rifle has a loose top hat that spins freely and I want to set it to the proper clearance and set it with blue lock tight.

Hi,
there is a range, but at the end of the day, you need to pick the spot 🙂
I am not kidding. Moving the top hat allows you to find the sweet spot for the best curve at the pressure you want to shoot.
So just get to tophat end flushed with the stem end and start from there.
Shoot a few with a full tank and chrono. If it is just dropping speed you need to probably take it away from the breach (minimal movements) or viceversa. I did this a while ago.
Just get yourself a few hours “sick” from work (hahahaha) and go shoot 🙂
