Interesting comments about the lever on the Cricket, sounds kind of tricky in a hunting scenario (which is how you view things right?).
Y’all can say what you want about Subaru… Subaru is the second highest rated automaker in the world for customer satisfaction. American manufacturers came in at the bottom. 🙁
The older WRX (Impreza) is an impressive machine in stock configuration, not many mass produced cars would be able to beat it straight off the show room floor (high end Audi and Porsche would give it a run for it’s money but they cost twice as much). The thing that sucks the most about it is, it’s TOO good, you have to push REALLY hard to get the excitement level up. If you happen to mess up at those speeds it’s going to be bad. 😕 The same has been said about the Carrera 4S, although I have not driven one yet… But the new Subaru line looks like crap and from what I can tell the handling has suffered too. 😡 Figures they would fuck up a good thing.
Compared to an 80cc shifter kart with sticky tires, production automobiles grip like a squished banana on a linoleum floor. 
Nawh, I like this, I have a 1994 F-150 XLT, That’s as far as I can go on spending on motorized veicles 🙂 🙂 🙂

My little hog – the Audi – is actually very gas efficient IF you´re somewhat normal on the pedal. If you want things to happen in real hurry it drinks like Uncle H 😯 😯 T on a payday …
I love that little bugger though since it´s a blast on curvy ,twichy roads. The Quattro 4WD + 320 bhp is a real … hoot. I actually timed it from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.87 sec. That´s o.k for a little orange golfbag…

Holy gas hog. The college daughter has a Subaru Legacy Limited. We live in the foothills of the Ozarks and need 4WD/AWDs at times. I have a Ford F-150 Supercrew Lariat 4WD (ok its a gas hog too) and a Honda Civic EX-L. My wife would kill me if I bought a sports car too. 😯

And that stupid knob that if you touch it the mag won’t index, could never find what was the right position that was supposed to be in, and could just be hit out of position very easily, very much a mickey mouse design for sure, not even accetaple in a gun of that price,…how about the wood cheek rest that just comes ooff ? not even screwed in or something 😯

I prefer the skeleton Cricket stock and in Europe it costs a little more than the bulldog and definitely better than my Matador stock (bulky). The standard Cricket is very light, small, and compact. The standard R3 is bigger, longer, and heavy by comparison. Bulky and heavy is definitely not what I want in a bullpup. 🙂 In fact I am considering a Compact Cricket model in .177 to round out the herd and maybe a .30 Matador eventually for pure power. I am actually impressed with the indexing system – its one of the few that seems to have no absolutely impact on extreme accuracy albeit a bit less smooth than my AA S510C but a better feed system. Given the thousands of Crickets sold already I hear of very few problems. I only wish the magazine fit Predator pellets. I did use a 3M washable adhesive strip to better secure the cheek piece but I like it being there none-the-less and it is well crafted. The Crickets are about 10% less expensive for wood and 20% less expensive for synthetic (.22) than the Matadors and I think that is about right (in the US) between the two but still expensive for either IMO. I give the fun-to-shoot edge to the Cricket (and a little better trigger but they are real close on mine and I have them both set at 12 ozs) but I use the guns for different purposes and both are extremely accurate. I have over 1500 pellets through each. I think of the .25 Matador as a 4wd Ford truck and the .22 Cricket as a Subaru Imprezza with the sports package. Both will get you there but the Imprezza is a bit more fun to drive IMO. The Ford truck is built tough if you need it but big and heavy.

It was such a disapointment when I finally got to handle a Cricket,…and I had so much expectations 🙂
tell you what, I Shot both Edgun and Cricket, I was very impressed by the Edgun,
and very unimpressed by the Cricket, the lever action and loading action is really Mickey Mouse,
yep not impressed at all, the Evanix lever action is butters mooth and the loading simple and to the point, could never go to such a poor design like the Cricket has.
A .357 Edgun repeter sounds great, will never have the funds for one bud from what I’ve seen it should be a top nock gun 🙂
That was before having the chance of shooting both guns, going from pictures and reviews.
Once I had the choice of shooting both guns my opinoin on the Cricked just plummeted 🙂 🙂
Still I would never buy a Single shot, but I have to say that those EDguns are sweet 🙂 🙂
