I like reloading shells for my crosman 1100
the birdshot goes through cans at close range. Didn’t work well on the squirrels, unless I loaded it with the lead balls. Too much drop to hunt with at any range, the lead balls hit really hard. Some of the most fun I had with it was shooting dragonfly’s. That was fun.
I need someone to build me a .40-.50 cal air shotgun that delivers near the energy and velocity of the Farco. Can you do it based on the 22XX platform. 😛
Oh, and I need loadable shells. 🙂
Oh yeah, it also needs to be quiet enough to take birds on the wing around the house. Is that asking to much. 😆
Just built an air shotgun today using a brass tube and a 22xx PCP as a base.
Using undersized 0 buck in a cloth wad, I got 351fps out of it… and using shot, it will shred a tin can at 15 feet. Going to be doing more experimenting with it over the weekend!! 😈
