Figured Maple Grips and Forend
Had these in the making for a couple weeks they kept getting pushed back for other things! My priorities are not in the right place I know 😀 Anyway wasn’t sure if I would like them or not on my Condor because of the Condor being black, the wood is nice just not sure about the color. Just something I wanted to do so I did it thought I would show them to you. The picture of the gun laying down shows the figured maple better to much flash on the camera I guess.

Rabbit my Grandfather came from Scotland I can’t remember where but I do know have it written down someplace here at home he talked about if from time to time sounds like a very nice place to live.
welldome mate they look pretty sweet . i do love the tiger maple .i,ve always thought about doing a full stock in it but it,s to hard to get here in scotland and cost a bloody fortune

OMG — it HURTS to look at her eyes. I felt like I was going cross eyed and getting dizzy at the same time.
oh… I like the grips and I don’t have pics but the right wood looks great with a transparent or semi-opaque black stain. Not sure it’s the right wood though.

That maple has nice figure and you did a great job shaping them out. I have always wondered how a nice grained wood, would work out if it were lightly stained in black…

ye eddieirvine scotland is a lovely place to live and i wouldn,t change it for anything.. well a bit ore sun would be nice
we scots r proud off our contry we do take a bit off stick off the english but ha we leave then at it as it makes them think there important .
