Response to Problems with charging my PCP’s
When you are filling from a high pressure source try it this way:

Open the bleed valve
Connect your hose as required
Observe gentle venting as you crack the bottle valve
NOW close the bleed valve and observe the fill guage needle
as it slowly climbs to gun pressure
Crack the bottle valve slightly as air is entering the gun.
Close valve when fill pressure is reached
Observe guage and quickly vent the bleed valve
Guage is at zero pressure with vent open then safe to disconnect hose.

Do this especially with quick opening tankvalves or when filling into a small volume.
This is the method I use when pressuring delicate instrumentation and will work well
for filling PCP airguns.
