Finally coming along!

Well, This little Condor ST is coming along! Now I just need Tony to do up my barrel for me! 😈 Here’s the parts list so far:

Smooth Twist .25
Condor SS
Tony’s tank adapter
Tony’s 95 Gram slap-mod hammer
Tony’s Quick-change top hat
Goddamn chinese knock-off tank cover (I’ll make it work though)
WOKGard 15
BCM Gunfighter Mod 0 grip

I’ll get a trigger shoe from Tony one of these days! A shroud too!

Well, I bedded the stock a while ago, and it didn’t turn out that well… So I bedded it again last night- MUCH BETTER!! I used two tubes of the Locktite Plastic Trim epoxy this time. It’s a 15 minute epoxy, so if you do this, set everything up prior to mixing and work quickly. Also, something I learned from the first time around: Make sure to twist the stock around as you slowly slide it onto the tank- much less waste that way. Again, keep in mind that 15 minute time hack. Much better results. If I were to do it again, I would also leave the butt-plate off, so that there’s not a lip of dried epoxy to cut off, and clean up is easier… Mind you, this isn’t perfect- but it doesn’t need to be. I just needed for the tank cover/stock to be tight, so that I’ll be able to use red locktite to keep it secure. Plus, the inside won’t be seen… This is also not like a typical bedding job, where accuracy depends on a perfect bed.
In conclusion, if you really want to go to all the trouble, you can get one of these tank covers off of amazon for $50… But honestly, I would just but a quality one from Tony from the get-go. Much more sound investment. :2cents: Ah- a step closer! It needs to hurry up and be after new years already!! 😈 😈 😈 😈

I’ve decided to just spray it- I already have all the paint I need… Plus, it’s less money (since I have the paint) I’m going to “bed” my stock today- hopefully it turns out better than my last attempt. Ah, well… live and learn.

What I mean by “bed” the stock is:

I have a chinese knock-off of the stock Tony’s selling, and it’s too loose to use. I guess I could just use double-sided trim tape to secure the stock, but I’d rather just bed the thing to make it fit tighter. I’ve got some JB Weld plastic trim epoxy, and I’m going to use that as a bedding compound. That way it’ll be tighter when I slip it over the tank. I really wish the damn chinese would quit half-assing shit when the build something.

The wraps are pretty cool! Can be removed also without any headaches. Gun skins.com does not make a “kit” for the Air Force guns so you have to buy a “gear skin” and cut it yourself.
I’m having trouble posting photos but I do have some up already in Talon/Talon SS section under “new member wanting to show off his baby”!
They have many different patterns and colors!

He’s machining the barrel and making barrel bushings… I wish I had the $$$ to get a full Tony Build!!!

Those wraps look interesting- I’ll have to look into them more!

Sounds cool! I was going to have mine dipped but wound up putting a wrap on it instead. Went with snow camo from gun skins.com.
I didn’t realize Tony was actually building the gun for you. I’m jealous! That guy “rocks”!

Smooth Twist barrel blank- Not sure how long it’s going to be after Tony’s done with it… As far as pictures, Tony will more than likely post pics up first when it gets done- I think he’s swamped with work at the moment. Haven’t heard from him in a bit. I’m not worried. Gives me more time to decide how I want to finish it!! I’m either having it dipped, or I’m painting it at home. I’m thinking of just painting it- it’s cheaper, and it is going to strictly be a field gun anyway… I’m thinking multicam!

Sounds like it’s going to be a sweet rig. What length barrel are you going with?
Post photos A.S.A.P.!
