Q:

finally finished my AAS410 carbine (pics) 4 SALE!

I orginally got this in trade from the yellow from a gent who makes very nice pistols out of them. He took an E tube and cut it and half and threaded it..and he made a nice stock wood stock for it…but it felt a little too much for my tastes on what a pistol should feel like so I set out to transform it into a carbine. I got lucky and bought a carbine tube off of the yellow (the pistol tube was only getting me 8 shots at 20fpe). The carbine tube worked perfectly as it did not protrude past the barrel shroud. I built the shoulder stock from some scrap stainless and aluminum I had laying around. Overall length of it is 31.25″ from tip of muzzle to end of butt pad (nearly 3″ shorter than my talon ss). It is super light, shoulders great, and puts CP brown box 14.3 as well as jsb 18.1 gr through the same hole all day long at 20 yards 😎 I am not sure how much I filled it as the AA gauge jumps up in 50 bar increments (and you have to have bionic eyes to read it) but I think I had at least 3200 psi in it. It yielded 25 good shots with an ES of 17 and an SD of 4 😯 I couldn’t believe those numbers. This is my first Air Arms and let me tell you after shooting 22xx/disco projects for the past 4 months…I certainly appreciate the fine craftsmanship that goes into these rifles (especially that trigger!). I plan on adding a rubber butt pad to the wooden one that is on it now. I could use another few inches of LOP. Man this carbine is sweet! I took it out at dusk and blasted some shatter blast discs at 50 yards and it was so accurate! After I blasted the three discs, I started blasting the small pieces laying on the ground. It’s the kind of rifle that makes it real hard to miss…if you know what I mean (I included a few photos of my disco carbine as well to show you how it looks with a scope on it instead of the iron sights I origninally built it to have)

She is for sale on the yellow if anyone is interested. It was either the AA, my SS, or my Scorpion. Doesn’t make sense to sell the 18.5″ barrel scorpion and have two 12″ barrel carbines…and there’s no way in Hell I’m selling my SS. If I could only have one rifle left out of the 10 or so I have…it would be my beloved SS. So the AA is for sale to a good home. 😎

Oh, okay, I just saw that in the response section of the link. Thanks.

Joe…you obviously didn’t look/read that whole link I posted ❓ ….It’s called a PRB for a reason..the P is for Peter, the R is for Rada, and the B is for Boris …You already know who two of them are, I’m sure..I have NO IDEA who the 3rd member (Rada) is..either way it’s a helluva pistol, much like the one you built…traveling in good company I’d say !!!!
If the anodized parts were chrome instead, THAT would be so awesome!

Excellent work…. You’ve taken those guns to the next level of Bad Assed-ness…. !!

Thanks Rob, coming from the “JP Morgan” of airgunoholics…that means alot to me! 😉

Oh…yeah, I did see that on the yellow. Looks like it might be one of Peter’s stocks…Maybe he is in on it with them. He did mention that he wanted to design the AA pistols for FT… Like I said, I personally think it is too bulky as a pistol with that big stock on it and the action is a little heavy for pistol config as well.

Here’s link to a post that has some photos od the PRB pistol 😀

80GRIT_ Have you seen the ALL NEW PRB pistol that TopGun Air Guns is now making????? It looks a whole lot like the one you built…have you by any chance been doing any collaborating with them on that project??? I ask cause it too is based on the same action and design as yours..
WHAT A PISTOL !!!! :8: :8: :8: :8:

No, I have not seen them yet. I will go to the website and take a look.

Yes, I could imaging that someone could sell a bunch of these…but again, the problem with doing any customization on guns is most people don’t want to give you money for your time and efforts. The gent who originally sold the AA as a pistol had no takers on it. So he traded me for a stainless 2260 plus some cash.

I think this AA will be a keeper! 😎

All three are very nice Joe, but that 410….. WOW!
As Riff says, there must be a market for those? Money to be made I reckon 😎

Man….that 410 is super sweet.

Please…NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER sell that one. lol

I wish I did not have to sell any of them…but unfortunately I can’t afford to keep em all. I have a BSA scorpion T10 bull barrel (rifle) and now that the s410 is done…eventually one of them will have to go. I never thought I’d part with the Scorpion but I may have to. I will spend a day with them both and see which one cries the most to stay…
