Q:

Finally got my .25 Condor SS

Looks real good and fits me good. Installed the tri rail, med Accushot rings and a Leapers 4×16 scope. Already ordered a Wokbutt and thinking about a few other items but I want to shoot it as is for a little while.
I did check the trigger weight and it breaks clean at 3-1/2 lbs everytime. Not too bad but I wouldn’t mind it being a little lighter. I can live with it for now. Defineatley better than the older versions I had.
The safety is also much easier to use compared to my older Talons. I can flick it off with my trigger finger pretty easily.
Didn’t have time to shoot as it was 10:30 at night when I finally got to check it out, but plan on doing some this week and see how accurate it is..
More to come!!!

Got a little trigger time tonight and I’m pretty pleased. It is accurate , that’s for sure. I just spent my time getting the scope dialed in and trying various fill pressures and power wheel settings to see what it might like. The only pellet i have is the JSB 25.4 gr. which is what was reccomended and it performed great with no fliers of any kind unless I jerked the trigger.
The chrony is at my friends house so I didn’t have a chance to do any chrony work but I did find what seemed to be a good sweet spot for fill and PW settings. I settled on 2500 fill , pw at 3 and was getting close to 30 very accurate shots at 35 yards. Granted 35 yards isn’t far, especially for the .25 but that is what my backstop is at. Basically it just tore one big hole in the target. It was also a lot quieter at these settings. I think I shot close to a hundred shots thru it.
You can really tell the difference between this .25 and my .22 Rainstorm when the pellet hits.

I then started plinking into a freshly tilled field out to about 125 yards to see what kind of drop there was. After a few shots I was picking off dirt clods at 100-125 yards and even managed to smack one black bird.

The sound level isn’t too bad. I think most of the sound is from the hammer slap, like a loud tink and the muzzle is kind of a woosh. Both sounds got louder as I dialed up the power. The trigger does have a little creep to it that I didn’t notice at first but I did when I was concentrating on sqeezing off the shot. Right now it is breaking at 3 1/2 lbs but it would be nice to get it down to 2 – 2 /12.
All in all I am very happy with it and am glad I waited for it to come in.
That’s all for now.

Yes these guns have serious hammer slap. Just a lot of noise. After I put on TT Shroud that’s all I hear a loud hammer slap it is annoying. I just purchased the slap hammer mod let you all know how well it work stopping that annoying high pitched ring.

Oakey

thats one good looking gun

Thanks! I have one on order, so I’m craving data on numbers and sound.
Keep it coming!
