Q:

Finally got my AAA condor!! But theres a problem…

I finally got my tony built condor today! totally stoked. I went through my new gun ritual of checking, cleaning, mounting, and so on. And Everything looked amazing! until I screwed up… I was installing a WOK GARD 15 and the safety lever and spring fell down. No problem. I finished everything up and was going to put it back when. PWING! The spring went flying. And even worse… I hear the unmistakable sound of my dog smack something out of the air and swallow. Shit. So my dog ate that little spring. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement? I have a few springs that I’m going to see if they will work. To be honest I’m not even sure I totally understand the safety mechanism. I’ll try to figure it out tonight. For the time being I buttoned it back up and took a few pictures. I’ll post some in a few when I figure out how.

Hey Click welcome. Would you please tell me about where you purchased the mono-pod? T.I.A.

Remove the springs, bar and then look at the 2 pins holding the safety piece and tap them out making sure you tap them out from the narrow head side.

Thanks for the info… I took my gun apart and removed all the safety parts. Thanks for the info on driving out the pins, they came out easy and after putting it back together it seems that my trigger works smoother then it ever has. I really like the Wokguard I got from you.

I took off my Hogue AR grip and put on a Pearce AR to .45 grip adapter. It is sweet!!!, I had .45 frames w/ Hogues on all my paintball markers, and the AR grip just didn’t feel right, no matter how much I tried to get used to it…. Face it, I got big, fat hands and the .45 grip is more accommodating.

RC you been hanging around HOOT!! 😯 LOL!! that was quite good! and about your safety take it out they are useless! you will wonder why you didn’t after you shoot without one! It is still the safest gun around with it out, cock your gun put in a pellet hold on to your breech with the cocking knob pull trrigger while holding pressure on your cocking knob let it come back against the top hat, safe as can be pull the trigger nothing happens! cock it again pull your breech against you top hat and you are ready to shoot! if you don’t shoot your gun, hold on to the cocking knob let it go against the top hat again and you are in safe mod again 😯

Finding the spring is no problem, Adam Socal offers this service because it happens so often with customers and their dogs.

Just follow your dog around for a week, pickng up his shit, and put it in a ziplock and send it back to WOK, he will sort thru it, sort of a tongue in cheek process and get it back to you.

He is one of the few craftsmen to offer this service, he learned this while in the prison cafeteria tossing salads, this was just after his career as a Boy Scout leader.

What parts need to be removed to bypass the safety? I put on a wokguard and although the safety lever is still there, my safety doesn’t work… sure wish I could eliminate it completely..

I second that question. If I keep the safety, I will need the #2 spring from your photo.
And thanks for the kind comments!
