Q:

Fire in residence

My home caught fire on the 16th of Jan. My Talon SS , and condor were right next to it. My home didn’t burn down but there was interior damage and it can not be lived in. I moved closer to work in Arabi, LA., about four miles from the French Quarter.
I retrieved my guns and first thing I did was cock and dry fire . The talon sounded fairly normal, but .condor sounded pretty weak. The guns weren’t directly in the fire but they were real close. A little surface corrosion is developing in spots and all the screws heads are discoloring.
Any one with experience using those products from Cobra and pyramid A.
that can help with this, please don’t be shy.
On another note, WHAT ABOUT DEM SAINTS. I’ve been around the city
most of my life, and We never seen it like this.

I fixed it Waltor. Hopefully Lama didn’t see it. 😆

Glad your ok. Get those tanks hydroed.

glad you are okay.

if the plastic did not run off the guns thenthere isno heat damage tothe tank. The valve seal would melt long before any troule on the tanks.

Our house burnt bad enough to take a year and a week to get backin and the ins spent about $300k fixing it plus $250k contents

Don’t let the insurance dick you around, if you have a concern deal with it firmly and immediately! they are NOT on your side.

Glad you’re ok. Get those tanks hydroed.

Might be a good idea to get the tanks on both of them hydro’d. I think most dive shops can do it. That would be a good safety check. If one of them was weakened by the fire, it’d suck to have it finally give out when you have the gun shouldered. 😯

That’s some scary shit! Glad to her it was minor!

Was the paint on the tank effected by the fire?
