Just picked up the stock on the bottom. A clean reproduction made of all things, Red Cedar. Unknown maker and has no markings. Probably just someone with a stock duplicator. Nice grain and although I haven’t weighed it, it feels like half the weight of a standard Skeleton stock.. It is designed for a right handed shooter, as it has a palm swell, a thumb shelf and finger grooves. My Compact 22 drops right in and locks up tight.

Some interesting cricket creation…

There is a link….
I found it somewhere in Russian web – this is original first wst stock from cricket production in Moscow. If you good see there no logo kalibrgun on stock yet…

Octavius, where did you get the stock on the bottom? I am looking to replace my Tactical stock on my .25 and would like to have one made like that for her.

Yes true it is made in Moscow. Apparently they did better job than now 😕

Thats no copy of the WST Cricket stock it is one of the originals back when they were made in Russia before the big move to CZ. Look at the low serial number.. very few made it out of Russia due to the strict shipping laws hence the move to CZ. I agree the smooth look without checkering looks much better and I enquired to get one from their first CZ shipment but they were not prepared to make one without the new checkering and logo. boooooo

How much and where from??

That’s a great looking copy of the original skeleton stock from Kalibrgun, minus the checkering on the pistol grip. I wonder if the maker has gotten authorization from Kalibrgun to produce and sell it.

I agree. These are beautiful stocks..We hunt hard and can be rough on our gear sometimes on the farm… Just bought the top one recently. Set these aside for their own good… :biggrinn: :biggrinn: :biggrinn:
