first ‘kill’ with airforce talon
i elevated the rifle very carefully and focused the reticle then the ranging objective and centered the crosshairs on the big black object: “PPPFFFTT”…missed…i could see i was high by where the .22 cal pellet had left a hole…raised the aim 2 mil dots…”PPPFFFTTT”…missed again…raised another two mildots…”PPPFFFTT”…”POPPPP” the big, fat black widow exploded… 😀
I HATE BLACK WIDOW SPIDERS! 👿 we have them all over the place here. 😡
a few minutes later…a hornets nest fell to the hard hitting .22 pellets… 🙂
more than one way to rid the place of these unwanted insects…fun, too. 😈

I wonder what is the minimum FPE reccomended for spiders. 😆 If anything deserves to be shot it is Black Widows. Those dudes/ dudettes really give me the willies.

they give me the creeps, too (the BW’s, that is)…we have lots of tarantulas around here, too but i’m fascinated by them. go figure. my hunting partner used to keep a couple of them as pets…
i have the Power Setting set on 4 to pop them with… 😉 😛 😀
