first post .. can i put a .22 barrel on my .177 condor ??
As the title says I am wondering if I can put a.22 barrel on my .177 condor without having to change out the tank . I am new to the condor I picked up a very nice used on locally and would really like to be able to shoot 22 from it as well . It has a 24″ barrel on it right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Going from the standard valve tank 177 to the larger caliber 22 barrel should pose no problem other than reduced velocity.
The bad issue is when you try to put a 177 barrel on a 22 or 25 caliber Condor with the high flow valve tank.
I have not done it but have read that the backpressure from the smaller caliber barrel could cause the high flow valve to hang up in the open position causing an air dump of most of the tank.
The standard valve tank like on the 177 should not do that.

as far as I can tell, being a newbie with the Airforce platform as well, it is possible and normal by design.
I just changed the .25 down to a .22 on a TalonP frame I bought.
