Q:

First shoots finally – .25 caliber Condor

I got my first shoots off today and I am more than pleased.
I have the 95 gram Tony hammer, set the powerwheel to 12/0 with a tank at 3000 psi and my FrameExtender shroud (hair curler reflex freeze plug with 2 inch additional extension and my is that quiet).

Shoot 1 was not shrouded which is slightly louder than a 22 handgun shooting 700 fps 21 gr bullets.
Shroud put on. Shoots 3 4, chrony lighting was bad.
Shoots 4 and 5 are 972 fps and 966 fps with 43.2 gr Eunjuns.
972 fps calcs to 90 FPE.

I was only expecting 80 FPE.

Airgunner you should send your setup to Tony. i too want to hunt larger game like coyote and pig. my numbers were slightly higher than yours for a fpe of 93 at max settings. you should be able to get 100 fpe with the 62 grainers. i think that would be enough to take a yote at 80 yards.

Airgunner – If my math is correct (and I think it is) your pellet has the same PFE as a baseball traveling 95 mph 😮 😯

Rock ON airgunner! 😎 Were you able to do any grouping with that cannon?

Will test more tommorrow. Looking for a nice 30 to 90 FPE spread.
Yes the only mod is the 95 gram hammer.
3000 psi fill to start and by the 5 shot it was about 2850, based on refilling.
Top hat is factory setting of .095.
Chrony Alpha Master with first light 18″ in front of muzzle.

Harry – your setup does sound like a match to mine and here is why.

30 FPE = pw 0/0. 90 FPE = pw 12/0. 60/12 equal 5 FPE per powerwheel turn.
I’m at 12/0 getting 90 FPE and if I turned it down to where you are at 10/0, I would be down 10 FPE to 80 FPE.

Keep up the testing and let us know the numbers as you go. Intereting stuff there.

Those are pretty darn good #’s with the 43gr Eun Jins! Is your valve stock? That is what I get with my TT tuned Condor .25 with the PW at 10-11. Is the only mod the 95gram hammer?

Then I cranked the powerwheel to 0/0 to see what would happen.

Tank pressure = 2850 psi
43.2 gr Eunjun – 560 fps = 29 FPE
35.8 gr Eunjun – 607 fps = 29 FPE

That estimates for 26 gr Polymags at 0/0 to 708 fps and at 6/0 to be about 1019 at 60 FPE.

I think this is a nice pellet weight spread, which leads me to belieive I can shoot 62 gr 6-rings at 803 fps and 50 gr at 900 using 12/0 at 2900 to 3000 psi.

Right in the sweet zone (squirrels to coyotes)
