first shots?

first time condor owner here! I like to fill my tank to 200 bar, i noticed that at whatever setting i get the first 2-3 shots seem to very soft, after that the power seems to jump out. is this normal? thanks

Best way to do it is just to shoot from a lower fill pressure. I know, it sucks.. the directions are wrong. 😉

A heavier hammer would work, but it’ll dump more air per shot as the pressure in the tank lowers also. So you’ll still have the same bit of “inconsistency” when shooting from 3000 fill. If you wanted to install a heavier hammer it’s a piece of cake… remove barrel and power wheel grubs and slide everything out. Reinstall in the same order.

is there any way of overcoming this? I been hearing about a “heavier hammer”, how difficult would it be for me to install one? thanks

Unfortunately that is fairly normal.

Most of us fill to around 2800psi to avoid this.

The problem is worse with the old-style condor valve.
