lol i would buy a scuba tank if i were you or nitrogen even, i dont mind the work out but i also have 135 lbs on ya and 6 inches

I agree with a tank over the pump, but would recommend SCBA over scuba. My thoughts when going with SCBA paid off, because with scuba, the 4-5 fills before the tank equalized would have just pissed me off. My 44cf tank gives 17 fills and the 66cf tank will fill 24 times before having the tanks recharged.

I bought an FX electric compressor today….Needs seals but got it at a good price..Well that is if repairing it doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg….

Ok…That makes sense…..At 5’7″ 160 lbs I am exhausted after 50 but it is getting better…..My biggest problem is once I start shooting I can’t make myself stop at 10…..Then I end up having to pumping like 150-200 strokes to get it back up to pressure….Good work out I guess…..

the pumping wasnt as bad as i was thinking it would be i am also 6’1″ and 295 lbs i filled it from around 700 psi up to 2900 not to bad

quote crowpopper:

i was doing 2900 also he said the best was a 2800 but i figured what the heck i am pumping might as well go anoth 100
lol
it is using 26.6 psi per shot also

I hear ya…I think 10 shots is 50 pump strokes…Brutal….I have a Talon tank and hammer ordered…I think I remember getting 20 shots per 50 strokes with my SS….

lol i didnt build it i bought it that way
i has a modded hiflo valve custom weight hammer it has the oring mods and trigger mod and also vented bushings and frame and a 24 inch barrel do these numbers seem off? ill run it my self when i get a chrony

crowpopper, I Chronied mine this morning 24″ barrel, with 2,900psi on PW12 with a Kodiak heavy.
It went 1132 fps…
With a 15.8 JSB it went 1226 fps
They will flat sling a pellet….The kodiak with crack until
you get down to about 2,300psi…I am in the process of
de-tuning it to get more accuracy, more shots and make it quieter….Great guns and lots of fun…

OK, all those mods make alot of difference. I was thinking a stock SS and wandering where I was going to find nitrous locally…… 😆 😆

21.1 gr Kodiaks flying 1049fps with PW setting of 5 ? You must be running nitrous oxide in that bottle instead of HPA ……. 😆 😆 😆
