Fixed – Lelya breech blowback
Well. I thought it was manageable for the initial “I’m so excited I have my Lelya” 15 rounds. After a couple more shots I had to stop shooting due to the breech blowback. It is shooting back 3/16 of an inch. This puts a huge puff of air into my eye and leaves my ear ringing. Not to mention the breech flying back and hitting my cheek. It’s too dangerous to shoot as is IMO.
Anyone else getting blowbck this severe, or at all? How do you fix it? Tony said there was a screw in the back of the breech and possibly too much greese. But to much grease where and which screw? I’m about the least mechanically inclined guy on this board so please use simple instructions if you have any.

i received my .20 cal lelya a couple days ago and it did the same thing. i called tony and he informed me of a set screw at the rear of the breech that adjusts to stop the the breech from blowing back. no diassembly is required to access this set screw-just look at the rear of the gun. i noticed it but didn’t know what it was for at the time and the manual is in russian. i also think the pics in it are from the earlier lelya. mine also shot the puff of air out and even did so after i remedied the breech moving rearward. i took the gun apart and examined the o-rings on the air probe. they looked fine but there was an excessive amount of grease on the 0-rings. i wiped off a fair amount, reassembled the gun and shot about 15 rounds and both problems disappeared. i then emailed tony and explained what i had done which may be where he got that info from that he passed on to you. hopefully this helps you as well.
