Flashing on slugs
I recently got some solid slugs and when they were cast they had a lot of flashing along the seams. I very lightly filed it off and they shoot fine but do I really need to smooth them off?

Is this a single or multi shot rifle.
Could wreak havoc is a spring loaded magazine..
I’m not an expert. But depending on your gun I’ve seen some vids on utube where guys get barrel jams.

Flash is from poor casting technique. From pouring into a mould not completely closed. The bullet will cast oversized so be careful using them!
