Try this…place your gun on a rest, shoulder your gun comfortably, aim at target, close your eyes and picture the bullseye in your head, relax and take a breath, keep your eyes closed, gently pull the trigger and concentrate how the trigger feels, when the gun fires it should suprise you, don’t worry where the pellet goes. What you are trying to accomplish is the feel of the trigger…Do this as many times as you feel confident in the reaction of the trigger…Next step is to aim at bullseye and then close your eyes picture the bullseye in your mind and then open your eyes to see if the cross hairs are still centered in the bullseye if so then you know that you have motor control over your muscles…Next step…keeping your eyes open to see the pellet fly and hit the target…aim at target and don’t worry about where the pellet goes just keep your eyes open to see the pellet hit the paper…do this as many times until it feels comfortable…Now you are ready to really take a good shot…Aim at target and focus on your mark and then close your eyes and feel the pull of the trigger and then open your eyes you will see that the pellet hit your mark….do this as many time until you feel comfortable, I see alot of shooters that actually shoot better with there eyes closed than open…Next step, aim at your spot, keep your eyes open, follow through with the trigger pull, and you should see the pellet hit your mark through the scope…hope this helps, Allen.

dont have ur buddy lick you in the ass
thats just gay
now you can have him back hand you lol
with a regular airgun i dont “flinch” but with my 13xx i do because i am trying to hard to keep steady and im not used to the trigger yet
I don’t flinch so much since I changed my thought process when I am releasing the shot with the rifle supported…
I do still get trigger finger lock when trying to shoot off hand…..I have a really hard time finding a release point due to the fear of landing the shot outside of the kill zone…
No flinch, but I get the jits when I’m aiming at a critter.
test
not an airgun recoil is what most shooters ecperience but can be overcome if you think about something other than the gun going off. they have that in Archery to beileve it or not it is kind of different they call it target panic kind of like anticipating the bow going off and it don’t. The way I got cured of that I had a buddy stand in back of me and every time I did that he kicked me in the ass I quit doing it.

That is also great info Allen…Have done that too…I call it “Natural aim”…..And yes I can see the pellet hit the mark when I am excuting the shot properly…As soon as I notice that I am not seeing the pellet, I stop and regroup….Great stuff Allen..It is always good to hear another shooters take and what techniques and practices they use……
