Flyers???
What causes a flyer is it the pellets or the barrel? My Vulcan will shoot a good group but to many flyers.

If the pellets are in good shape, I believe flyers are caused by the shooter and incorrect shooting technique.
The photos below show a 30-shot group at 27 yards (JSB 18-gr. at 515 FPS) which I did a couple of weeks ago. Shooting that much pellets into the group you see in the photos requires serious consistency and discipline in shooting technique; because I powered down my Cricket and am shooting the 18-grain pellets at 515 FPS, it is important that I need to be as consistent and discliplined as I can due to longer pellet dwell time in the barrel.

“Flyers” are an act of God. They cannot be prevented. They are present in any gun that pushes a projectile out of a muzzle, firearm or airgun. No one is exempt, and no one can stop them from happening from time to time. Even guns fired from a mechanically locked rest can have flyers. World class tournament marksmen have flyers.
If they are a regular occurrence, then you need to closely examine your equipment, your ammo, and/or your shooting positions/rests.
There is no such thing as perfection in this sport…only people and equipment that perform better than others.
