For God’s sake, would someone named Ed send renval a message?

We have been ignored so what do you expect Ed?
Always good to hear both sides.
I see a funny video coming on the YT EDucation channel
I need a new hammer to go with my 3mm valve. You could have sent all of us Gen 1 guys new hammers and valve houses and it would have been done! You are still making them right?? I can’t remember how many times I asked you (privately) for a heavy hammer with no response.

What are you willing to pay or do to make this right?

The gen. 1 is not set for heavier hammer, it is not set for high speed. Mine is 260 m/sec and that is more then enough. So, if somebody want to get more he can do it on his own risk I will not pay for that. 2 mm rod is working OK with 1st gen. unless one is trying to get more energy of it.
I told you, privately, that heavier hammer is not suitable for 1st gen, you didn’t listen to me.
If there is a problem with the gun you should apply to me and we will find the conclustions. It can be either changing the parts, gun, taking gun back to repair etc. But if you go to somebody esle to make what you want and then charge me for that on your own — I am not willing to pay that, if the volume of work and price is not agreed with me.
What is your official statement about fixing the Gen 1 guns?

My Dear Ed,
here we have it.
Test, test ,test your guns/designs before releasing them.
Long time tests, endurance tests and even then sh*t will still happen (you said it, a mechanical piece can and will fail).
So when sh*t happens (because it will happen) make your dealer take care of it.
Only packaging and shipping the gun insured back and forth already means quite an amount.
Add man hours and pieces and “VoilĂ ” the “Magic Bill”.
And still please don’t forget to thank all of those that are taking care of the faulty guns you have sent around.
And please don’t forget as well that even fixed the gun will still look like a “faulty but repaired item” that anyway has caused a lot of trouble, well designed and reliable looks like something else in my books.
Ok, please file this in the “Constructive critic” section and make so as nobody had ever told you.
Only one additional thing PLEASE
Don’t start to tell around and make a video explaining that the “Morons have fuxed their guns”. (Please spare us this, even though certainly it will look funny and entertaining)
280 USD?! Are you OK, guys!? Consider the following is as my offitial statement.

Yeah with the 2mm stem. I wouldn’t expect it to work with a heavy hammer and 2mm stem either.
Ed, Renvals gun, the one that has been fixed by John Hagan is the same as mine and is now shooting within 880 with the heavy hammer and 3mm valve stem. Have you tried this yourself by the way?
So what you are saying is there was never an issue with the Gen 1’s even though several have bent the valve stems (2mm) with the standard hammer. I shot the gun as set up by Edgun (regulator, hammer, and HST). Still bent the stems.
Sorry Ed but that is what is happening.
