is Strelok better than Chairgun?

when i bought the Strelok Pro (Paid version),,,then i became to know that Chairgun is just bullshit ,,, nothing,,,

I have not tried the commercial version of strelok.. whow.. the name itself already sounds stupid, at least to me…I can hit my human sized targets without it.

the free version version of strelok is crazy, it won’t allow changes in parameters. hell, i will not pay just to be able to change units. damn…

No, it is an app.

It says it’s for window phones. I have an iPhone, and want it on my laptop. I went to this link on my laptop and it won’t let me download it. After I download it on my phone can I use the software on my laptop?

Nothing wrong with making a data book while scouting a area prior to hunting.. Doing it while hunting is a waste of time imho

A couple afternoons of trigger time will get you set on trajectories if your able to remember. The hard part is going to be wind doping. Just go out and practice. Save your money for pellets and forget all the tech stuff.

can I get strelok on my hp computer? the apps I see only download to phones and shit…

I can see the gadgets having a real advantage in letting you become adept at gauging distances and approx. wind speed. E.G.: look at a spot, try to guess the range, verify. By using the tools to teach yourself how to better judge conditions, you can apply this in the field.

Not having a rangefinder or a proper range, I find it’s a pain to use a long tape to measure distances to the targets so I know the approx. holdover/under at different, specific ranges. To teach one’s self what the different useful ranges look like or what a e.g. 8 mph wind feels like, the tools can help. Then, your brain (hopefully) recalls what the conditions appear to be and what you need to do. At short ranges, like 30- yds, it’s easy enough to shoot-n-see. But the longer shots are tougher to estimate, especially at odd angles.

i just downloaded the Pro version, seems pretty good, ill give it a try, chairgun is not very accurate when im shooting the edgun, wonder why :confusedn:

The tech I have is for places I don’t go often…so it’s obvious to remember where a pellet hits in your yard but when I go out hunting for groundhogs or dove hunting I like to know were my pellet is hitting so I dont scare off my game.

With proper training you can significantly reduce the need for all the electronic gizmos. Life is much simpler and quicker when you use the ultimate computer=the human mind. Plus its doesnt need a power outlet after so many hours and is weather resistant :2cents:

one is $4.99 and the other is $11.99, whats the difference between them and which one is recommended for airguns.

On andriod at least, the free Strelok lacks the option to input the magnification setting of your scope, I think it also does not include all the reticles either… with Strelok+ you can input the magnification settings, what power the reticle is true at, and get the entire selection of reticles to choose from (which does include the hawke 1/2 MD’s). With that being said it is pretty tough to use the free Strelok without the ability to input your magnification settings imo…
