Form Fitting Grips
I might just have stumbled onto a fix for my rifle. Sorry if this has been discussed before. Another hobby of mine is R/C rock crawling and I noticed a mention of a soft grip material used to improve the pistol grip of a R/C radio. This just might work. Not sure what happened to the original poster, maybe he was just advertising… If so, I fell for it. Picked up 4 for $20 on sale.
This stuff is great. Better than the two slip on’s I’ve tried. You mold it with your hand, in your shooting position, the way you hold the gun and it stays there.
I did have to trim it. I trimmed it before heating or molding which was a mistake. I think I’d definitely get a better look and cleaner edges if I trimmed after an initial molding while it was still warm.
