Has anyone had problems with the quick disconnect blowing off the airforce adapter

The o-ring size on the inside of a female Foster, duro 010.
Huntfish , sorry for the bad advice for using WD-40 and thank you bogman for giving the right correction with using silicone . I did not know there was an o-ring in the hose coupling , learned something new , again sorry and thanks . From the birdman
Typically, this results from the female Quick-connect not clicking/seating. Watch closely as you put it together. In addition to initially pulling the female outer ring back, a fair amount of pressure is needed to seat against the o-ring before the ring/lock snaps in place.
There’s an o-ring inside the female fitting-do not use oil, WD-40, or any petroleum product unless you’ve researched the compatibility thoroughly. Most petroleum oils eat up or swell o-rings. Use pure silicone, very tiny amounts. If the o-ring in the foster appears dry, a tiny amount of silicone, a super thin layer, on the male fitting can help. Most petroleum products need to be kept away from compressed air to prevent dieseling or explosion.
If it keeps happening, one of the two fittings is bad; you may be missing a ball bearing in the female.
Yes , I get the same problem from time to time . I really don’t know the reason for this except , I think it has to do something with the stiffness of the hose coupling and not sitting itself properly on the air port nipple . I did spray W-D 40 on the hose coupling and it seemed to help . You can inquire with Airforce Airguns and see if anyone else had the same problem . Wishing you the best and enjoy your toy . Never use oil based lubricants in combination with HPA. They don’t mix well.
