Foster male fitting dust cap
Anyone sell dust caps that fit on a male foster fitting to keep crap out. I just received my Altaros reg for Talon SS and it doesn’t come with one. I don’t want dirt, etc. getting in there and then filling it.
Or has anyone got ideas for making one?

Go into Home Depot and get some of the rubber caps that are on the end of the fiberglass rods they sell for marking driveways in the snow. The are a perfect fit. They put out a bunch of those rods in parking lots before the winter snows start. You can get a pocket full in no time.
For my Matadors I use cross sections of a skinny bicycle inner tube. Your bike shop will give you all the used inner tubes you want. I cut them in 1/2 inch lengths. They fit snugly over the air tube and keep everything out. They are black so they match the metal, never fall off, don’t scratch the paint and are silent.
