Found a great QD equipped, quality 6" to 9" bipod on Amazon.
Yes…it’s square, comes with the QD picatinny rail attachment built in, is solid, tiny when collapsed, and also has a sling stud adapter if you need it.
Shipped free, and cost $46.00 and worth every dime in my opinion. Even came with a two page, color, owner’s manual for adjustment and mounting. I like it a LOT!!!

On the legs the little wheels lock the drop down legs in position. On the other side is a lever which releases them to whatever level you want and holds them in place.

I have the UTG SWAT 6.1-7.9 and UTG Sniper 8.1-12.7 bipods and they are great. Very sturdy and solid. However mine is the screw on type. I don’t have arthritis in my fingers from 70 yrs of jacking off like Hoot so it’s not a problem. Comes on and off quick.

My house has high windows so if I use the SWAT sitting at a desk near the window, the barrel does not clear it. With the Sniper it does.
Looks like a keeper there, Hoot. So it comes with the fore end mount ready to attach to the rifle? The QD is very appealing, can pop it off when field hunting. Can’t beat the price, either.
Yeah, Hoots pics disappeared because of the Zombie effect (electrical anomalies surrounding zombies). Since he got his pulse back, he’ll probably shake it off, like a flu. It might need the lemon+honey+bourbon treatment to subside. Bulleit has the best medical value in these situations. Use with caution or symptom relapses may occur.

That square design would actually look good on a Cricket WST stock, since that too has the squarish hue … I know – the Love Viper is a Poet too. 😯
