Q:

Frame venting question

I was just perusing the Quick Ref forum and came across the Frame Venting how-to: http://talonairgun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1483

I’m stuck on a particular point that wasn’t clarified in the thread… since the vent holes are located between the two bushings, it seems it would be pointless to undertake the task unless the front bushing is drilled out as well.

Am I correct, or will the frame venting provide a quieter report even if the front bushing isn’t drilled out?

furthest from the reciever then, sorry about that, I meant barrel end.

lol

quote maw:

front bushing meaning the one closest to the barrel, vent only one bushing please.

I believe they are both of equal distance from the barrel 😉

front bushing meaning the one closest to the barrel, vent only one bushing please.

10-4, that’s what I assumed. Thanks.

The front bushing must be drilled out for the frame venting to work.
