Fredrick Spotted At AOA – New Bobcat – Extreme Benchrest

I read that Fredrick has been seen with his Bobcats at AOA for the Extreme Benchrest competition this weekend. The guy would only say that folks will be in for a treat when they see it but not sure what he meant. I suspect he will try to beat the competition with the Bobcat like he did the Boss last year. 😯

[quote=”Hoot”] Or do what the upcoming Kalibr Colibri does…move the cocking mechanism forward of the trigger mechanism!

Hi Hoot,

You’re right.
A semi auto bull pub is my wish for santa.

According to my information Kalibr is putting its time into the larger cal. first.
The development and production of the Colibri has been moved forward in time.

Regards, Robert.

Right on H 😯 😯 T ! A real treat for that Fuckly Duckling is indeed a camo of some kind. Paint it Ocean Blue and throw it into the Ocean.

I have a “special” way (i do the loading with my left hand) of loading both the Eddie SS and the newcomer Roach WST without removing it from my shoulder nor taking my eyes of the target (yes- it goes even with the SS EdGun) without any problem. I need to take a video and and show how i do it. I have to say that the EdGun MS is another matter though and can´t be reloaded without completely letting it off your shoulder.

Good question – wish I knew. I actually thought about going down there for the EB until I checked the airfare a week ago. It went from $300 a few months ago to $735 now. I will just wait for the video. 😀 Steve is pushing for a good showing of bullpups this year.

By “…treat”, does he mean appearance, or performance?

A “treat” for the bobcat would be hot dipped cammo film that made the gun’s profile completely disappear! No one has ever faulted it’s performance or accuracy.

AND….why can’t someone develop a reloading system for bullpups that does not require the rifle to be removed from your shoulder to cock and reload? There are lots of smooth pump actions that could be incorporated into this design. Or do what the upcoming Kalibr Colibri does…move the cocking mechanism forward of the trigger mechanism!

That would be a real improvement on one important bullpup shortcoming function.

My dream bullpup not only has its cocking mechanism forward of the trigger… but a semi-auto bullpup.. just one initial cocking action. All we need to do afterwards is, aim and shoot, till the magazine runs empty.
