heh… now you guys know they can’t do anything without our blessing. If they’re going to rename anything we have to do it for them. They wouldn’t have built the Talondor, Condy-lite or whatever the hell it is if it hadn’t been conceived of here.
They did offer it at a decent price point though and still left it open to personalization. Mine currently looks like an AR15 pistol which they couldn’t have done without me!
They should rename the rifles. The AF iTalon Pistol, the iTalonSS and the iCondor now that they are selling the same shit as different products. 😆

Overall length on the TalonP is 23.25″, Marauder is 18″. They weigh about the same at ~3.4 lbs. The TalonP is spec’d higher fps with a .25 than the Marauder at .22. I don’t know much about the Marauder pistol but the TalonP has loads of potential for modifications and personalization. To me they are two distinct air guns with different shooters in mind.
The TalonP is loud in its stock form but I’m not finding that to be a problem with my Subssonic shroud. Still love my TTT but I’m very happy with the TalonP so far and I have plans a plenty for it. 🙂
Because the air bottle hangs out the back, the TalonP is quite a bit longer than the Marauder.
Remember, the Talon pistol is a rifle frame with a small air bottle.
I’d pass on this product and stick with the Marauder, unless you must have .25 caliber.
I’ve toyed with the idea of having Jim Gaska, Marmot_Militia mill a 12″ LW barrel for it in caliber .25….it would lower the fps due to pellet weight, but since its never been done, I can’t guess the fpe power gain, if any.
Be sure to check for shroud extensions for the Prod. The muzzle blast is quite a bit louder with the power increase. The little extension shrouds are cheap, about $30 I believe. Jim and some other people have those for sale as well.
One fellow even has a Prod air tube extension, but the gain is small compared to the tube cost.

Since hoot has been pushing the fps on the Maruader pistol I am thinking of sticking with that!

I’m not sure TG knows he is just testing a Talon with a 12″ barrel… 25 yards… Sure it’s a ways for a “pistol” but AF sells the same set up as a rifle (TalonSS).
I have to say that was THE WEAKEST blog entry in the history of blogs. 😉
It comes with an end cap. Remember it is just a Talon frame.
