Q:

Full Auto Edgun Coming Next Year Per Ed….

I’d rather have a semi-auto Edgun. I so seldom have to engage in crowd control, or trench sweeping.

Can you imagine the cost to feed this Black Hole with air and pellets?

It’s very innovative, but what’s it practical use, other than impressing other air gun adventurists. On a slightly negative side, it sounds exactly like a HK MP5, 9mm, silenced sub-gun.

Any thoughts on this getting through US customs?

Puzzled….

AASkiss trools by here every so often. 😆

didn’t know Daystate made a full auto or even semi auto rifle-NOT!!!!. live and learn

quote Ted in Madison:

So, now Edgun has Daystate in the crosshairs, too.

It had Daystate in the crosshairs from the beginning. After all Matador is a Daystate Harrier/BAM 50 done in a bullpup + a regulator 🙂

So all is needed now is the electronics and the trigger pull on it will feel just right.

As frightening as this gun is, there is one thing even more disturbing… I agree with everything Hoot said.

Also, Assman is spot on. If you can make this thing auto, you can make it semi-auto. So, now Edgun has Daystate in the crosshairs, too.

That would be fun to play with!

I would rather have the single shot R3 25 cal that I have have had on order since last Oct. If I do my job right I don’t need a second shot or a magizine.

With all of Ed’s exporting problems, I really didn’t expect it till Sept. Still hoping that I am right on that.

It is impossible to have too many Edguns!

Idd, but accuracy is gone… I think..
So no for me..

If he can do that, making it select fire should be no problem.

Not for me, but I hope Ed has a multishot in mind also. Single shot right to full auto? Ive been waiting to see a multishot. Either way that I’m glad he’s pushing the envelope when it comes to airguns, he has my money as soon as the edguns start shipping again.

It is radical. It is amazing. It is high tech personified. It’s FULL AUTO!!!

However, if anyone here has owned, or been licensed to use, a sub-machine gun, you will know it is fun to shoot, as long as you don’t have to supply the ammo. But, it gets boring after a very short time.

Think about this for literally one second….1200 rounds per minute, 500 round magazine. Isn’t that a full tin of pellets, at $10.00 to $14.00 per 500 round tin, moving down that barrel at 20 pellets per second. With a full 500 round mag, you get exactly 25 total seconds of fun…then it’s over. And I suspect it might use some serious air.

Naw! I’ll pass on this one and concentrate on something more useful, like accuracy and a semi-auto action.

Just my thoughts.

PS: What in the world would hold enough air to shoot just one magazine? 50 shots is considered a great shot count for a regulated gun, but 10X that???

I want one.

He unloaded 100 rounds in that demo… pretty amazing.
